Ostern verbrachten Leif und ich dieses Jahr in meiner Heimatstadt Bautzen. Sie ist bereits über 1000 Jahre alt. Eine der sorbischen Traditionen zu Ostern sind die Osterreiter, die die frohe Botschaft über die Auferstehung Jesus Christus verkünden. Aber auch der Osterhase hatte etwas versteckt. Da mein Bruder mit seiner Familie bei meinen Eltern war, gab es etwas für meine Neffen und meine Nichte zu suchen.
Leif and I spent Easter in my home town Bautzen this year. This city is more than 1,000 years old. One of the Sorbian traditions of Easter are the Osterreiter, proclaiming the good news about the resurrection of Jesus Christ. But even the Easter bunny was hiding something. Since my brother and his family were also at my parents, there was something hidden so my nephews and my niece had to search for it.

Bautzen ist ja ganz hübsch was man so von Bilder sieht. Wir sollten überlgen, ob wir nächstes Jahr Pfingsten vielleicht doch dort verbringen :o)
